Terms &
Conditions

The plain-language agreement for using WaitWage — what the Service does, how earnings and the early-developer bonus work, and the rules that keep it fair.

Last updated · June 18, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and WaitWage (“WaitWage”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of the WaitWage waitlist, extension, and website at waitwage.com (the “Service”). By joining the waitlist, installing the extension, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

01Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using it, you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you are not barred from using it under applicable law.

02The Service

While your AI coding agent is processing, WaitWage replaces the visible status line with a single sponsored message. Sponsors pay for that moment of attention, and you keep a share. The Service is opt-in — you can pause or uninstall at any time. It is currently offered on an early-access basis and may change as we develop it.

03Accounts and security

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity under your account. One account per person. Tell us promptly of any unauthorized use.

04Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Generate fake, automated, or fraudulent activity or impressions.
  • Use bots, scripts, emulators, or multiple accounts to inflate earnings or claim bonuses.
  • Interfere with, probe, or disrupt the Service or its security.
  • Reverse engineer or misuse the extension beyond its intended purpose.
  • Use the Service unlawfully or to infringe anyone’s rights.

We may withhold earnings, suspend, or terminate accounts that break these rules.

05Earnings and payouts

  • You keep 70% of what a sponsor pays for an attributed impression shown to you; WaitWage retains the rest to run the marketplace.
  • Only genuine impressions from real developers earn. Fraudulent or bot activity earns nothing and may forfeit your balance.
  • Payouts are made once your balance reaches the payout threshold (currently $10), after a spam-and-fraud review, to a bank account or PayPal, in supported countries.
  • Earnings are estimates until cleared. We may adjust or reverse amounts arising from error, fraud, or chargebacks.
  • You are responsible for any taxes on what you earn, and we may request tax information where required before paying out.

06Early-developer bonus

As a launch incentive, the first 1,000 developers to join the waitlist are eligible for a $5 bonus funded by WaitWage, in addition to sponsor earnings. The bonus:

  • is not an instant signup reward;
  • is paid as an extra $1 added to each of your first five (5) qualifying payouts (totaling $5), so you must reach your payout threshold five times to receive it in full;
  • is limited to one per person and per account, is tied to your account, and is non-transferable with no cash value beyond the payouts described;
  • requires your account to remain in good standing and active; we may apply an inactivity or expiry period and forfeit unclaimed amounts;
  • may be modified, suspended, or withdrawn, and is void where prohibited or where obtained through abuse or fraud.

WaitWage’s determination of bonus eligibility is final.

07Sponsored content

Sponsored messages are provided by third-party sponsors. We screen sponsors, but we do not endorse and are not responsible for their products, services, or websites. Your dealings with sponsors are between you and them.

08Intellectual property

The Service — including the extension, the website, and all related content and trademarks — is owned by WaitWage or its licensors and protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as permitted.

09Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data — including that we never read your code.

10Third-party services

The Service relies on and may integrate third-party services (such as your AI agent, payment processors, and hosting). We are not responsible for those services, and their terms may also apply to you.

11Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any particular earnings will be achieved. Earnings figures shown anywhere on the Service are illustrative, not guarantees.

12Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WAITWAGE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR EARNINGS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNTS WE PAID YOU IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

13Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold WaitWage harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access — and withhold or reverse earnings or bonuses — if you violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or where required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

15Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may change or discontinue the Service, and we may update these Terms. We will post the updated Terms here with a revised date; material changes take effect as stated. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept them.

16Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [your governing jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts located there will have exclusive jurisdiction — except where mandatory local law gives you other rights.

17General

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and WaitWage regarding the Service. You may not assign them without our consent; we may assign them. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
